Drivers who need a heavy-duty truck for their work and play often have many practical options but can’t always find the luxury and special edition models that can elevate their daily driving experience. Fortunately for those in the market for a new Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 heavy-duty truck, the 2018 Ram Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition features offer unique styling and premium comfort mated to top capability.
2018 Ram Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition Features
Based on the elite Longhorn trim of the 2018 Ram 2500 and 2018 Ram 3500, the Rodeo Edition adds a suede interior headliner that complements interior colors like Black and Cattle Tan.
Drivers can see even more enhancements and unique features on the exterior of the 2018 Ram Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo model. The wheels will be either 20-inch aluminum with available painted pockets (single rear wheels) or 17-inch polished aluminum (Ram 3500 dually). Bold Longhorn badging, a Mopar bed step, and six color options including RV Match Walnut make this truck stand out.
Capability on the 2018 Rodeo Edition
While these styling cues may be exactly what truck shoppers crave, the unique feature advantages of the 2018 Ram 2500/3500 Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition do not end there. The skid plate protection group, Ram’s exclusive rear air suspension, a 5th wheel/gooseneck trailer prep package and a bed-view camera all will come standard with this special edition.
Pricing and Model Options
The 2018 Ram Heavy Duty Ram Rodeo Edition will be available with 4×2 and 4×4 drive, and in Crew Cab or Mega Cab body styles. A 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 will come standard, though a Turbo-Diesel engine is available. The starting manufacture’s suggested retail price for Ram 2500 models will be $60,790, while the Ram 3500 models will start at $71,260. A $1,695 destination fee will be added to both trucks.
